Dr.TCHISSEM HORTENSE MASSISSOU is a dedicated medical professional and public health expert with over a decade of diverse experience in clinical practice, health program management, human rights advocacy, and international public health education. She currently serves as the Dean of Student Affairs at Nation Builders Academy Global University, where she is committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and empowering learning environment for all students.
She holds a Doctorate in Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Kofi Annan University in Guinea, as well as multiple international certifications in HIV/AIDS care, vaccinology, and maternal-child health. Dr. Massissou began her academic journey in the United States, earning degrees in Clinical Procedures and Phlebotomy, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics from Oakland and Washtenaw Community Colleges in Michigan.
Her professional career spans several countries, including Chad, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, and the United States. She has served as an emergency physician at the Hospital of the Refoundation in Chad, Assistant Coordinator at the International Human Rights Commission, Program Director for APAME-Colostrum promoting maternal and child health, and Surgical Assistant and Interpreter for Smile Train. She has also contributed to national public health efforts as an epidemiological investigator during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Massissou brings a wealth of experience in student mentoring, healthcare systems, human rights, and international collaboration. Fluent in both French and English, she is passionate about building future leaders in global health and humanitarian service.
